CCHIT Provides New Certification Programs

CCHIT is releasing two new certification programs: CCHIT Certified 2011 and CCHIT Certified ARRA. The Certified 2011 comprehensively covers ambulatory/emergency and inpatient EHRs for $37k and $49k respectively. The Certified ARRA program is a preliminary step towards providing guidelines around meaningful use. We're still waiting for the official definition. CCHIT's ARRA certification works on a modular basis so that 2 modules would cost $6k, and up to 20 modules would cost around $33k.
